Memorial Day weekend

This was a great weekend we got a lot accomplished. Yet again Mama and Papa came up to help us move things. I was RIF-fed again this year and have to move all my stuff out of the school by the end of the year. Mom came up to help me organize and box everything up and Dad helped Mike clean out the garage and take care of the kids. Emma had her first celebrations of her upcoming birthday first with Mama and Papa and then Uncle Steven and Aimee. Emma went to her first parade and her daddy was in it. Mike and Emmalee hung their "tweet"house and checked on the eggs in our front bush.

Emma's hair before and after a nap.
Brayden is getting to be such a big boy. Playing with Papa Bill and Mama Barb.

This poor fish gets attacked every night. Can you believe that we have not found anything he does not like. We just can not get it to him fast enough.

Bloomington has a Memorial Day parade every year it was an extremely ugly day for Emmalee's first parade but her best bud (Emily) was there to tough it out with her. Mike walked with Rotary he is the fourth one back holding the flag.

Telling Mama bye.
Mike and Emma hang their "tweet"house.

One, two, three, four, six. There is two problems here one you skipped five and two there are only four eggs. She must get her math skills from me. Uncle Steves and Maimee.

On Saturday Mike had a booth at the YWCA health and wellness day. Dad showed his building skills and made a birdhouse or as Emma calls it Tweet house. Emma loved jumping, throwing bags, the obstacle course, seeing Elmo, and getting balloons. It was a good family day. :)

She even gave Elmo Highfive and never even cried. Yea, maybe we will get a pic with Santa and the Easter Bunny next year.

Hayden and Carson

Hayden and Carson came to visit for a couple of hours while there parents were gone. The kids had so much fun. They played very well together and Mike and I decided that being out numbered is not as scary as we thouht. Okay maybe it would be if it was a permanent thing but short term was a blast.
