Mother's Day

Mother's day was a wonderful day. We ate hamburgers, pizza, icecream, and popcorn. We layed around the house in our pj's, naped, got every toy out, drank milk, watched a chick flick, played outside, got puked on, changed diapers, called the grandma's, feed the dogs, let the dogs in/out, cried, and said, "no" 101 times. A mothers dream or atleast this mother's dream. I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for the great day guys, I had a blast. I love you all very much.

Look they have the same diapers with Elmo.
Papa and Mygaul Kroeschen came up on Thursday night and stayed till Saturday afternoon. We had Biagg's takeout for mother's day dinner. It was very relaxing and enjoyable when the kids were not going crazy. Emma was teaching Papa how to eat his spaggetti , Emma helping with gifts and Brayden hamming it up.

This is Emmalee playing with uncle Steves. She had a great time getting to know him again. I wish I could have a laugh like this. It has been so long since I've had the throw back your head laugh, I would say that I am due.

OUTSIDE!

After work we all went "OUTSIDE!" to play. This is a word we here all day and night long now that Emmalee has experience playing outside and loves it. My two babies are becoming friends and forming that brotherly/sisterly bond.

Peek-a-boo!

Everywhere she goes she runs.

What's up?

This is what it is all about. Bring a tear to their mothers eye.

5/1 - 5/3

Emmalee's new love is planes. So we took her to the aviation museum here in Normal. It was open cockpit day. We had a great time and Emma loved to see the planes up close and getting in them.

Now we know why Brayden has been so cranky. Here he is proudly showing off his two new teeth.

This is our lazy Sunday. Yes, this is what our house looks like every weekend. Who am I kidding this is everyday. :)

As for Brayden I swore this would never happen. But, isn't he so cute with his fat cheeks.

Strike one!

Strike two!

If it does not work at first, get a bigger bat!

See ya again next week!

Slide

On Sunday we spent the entire day outside playing. Daddy added a slide to the swing set and he was Emmalee's hero for the day. The girl who does not like to have her picture taken kept wanting more pictures. Don't pretend like you are going to watch because she checks and if you are not looking she will tell you to "watch". So here you go, Emma and her new slide.

Yes, the slide is a little fast and it looks like she lands on her butt but she lands on her feet everytime.
Oh, the sandbox. ???? Not so sure I am a fan but she loves it and she set in there for about 10-15 minutes and played by herself. Gotta love that.

Teeth. I don't know maybe she got sand in them who knows.

Cardinal Game

This weekend we went to St. Louis to go to the Cardinals game. This was Braydens first game. We had a great time with G-ma and PaPa. It was a beautiful day and the Cardinals won.
