Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We got to spend quality time with family. It was a fun filled weekend with lots of traditions and new experiences. The kids loved the Easter Bunny, Easter Baskets, and of course all the Easter Egg hunts this year. The weather brought out all the Spring activities like walking around the grounds, picking flowers, fishing, sitting on the back porch, swinging in the swing, and just enjoying the sun and warm weather.

On the Beck side everything is going good and things are about the same. It seems that everyone is getting so much older and mature. Everyone had their own plans and agendas this year to work with. We got to spend time with Ed, Dalton and Savannah the weekend before. When they came up for Dalton’s games and Savannah stayed with us the rest of the week during her spring break. Which was absolutely amazing! We had a couple of small visits with Tom during the weekend. Grandma Dorma and Jean E. got to come over for a pleasant visit after the kids took their extremely long nap Sunday(I wouldn’t know why they would have been so tired) before we hit the road for our three hour drive which is always dreaded.

On the Kroeschen side we not only had the joy of introducing our newest family member, Lucy, to her first holiday we also found out some joyful news. In October we will be getting a new addition to the Kroeschen group. Teri and Wes announced at Easter lunch that they got to hear their first child’s heart beating and had an ultrasound picture to show everyone. Debby is so excited that she is going to have five grandchildren three and under. It does seem that we are expanding like crazy which means every holiday is only going to get a little more adventurous. I can’t wait to watch them all grow. The three grandparents were all able to make the trip to Mt. Vernon which is always a blessing.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!
