Just another week
Just another week here at the Kroeschen house. We had Grandpa Bill and Uncle Steve visit us this last week, the kids playing together around the house, and Mom got a night out with the girls. We won't go into what happened at the house while she was gone, no pictures no proof right honey. ;) Looking forward to the nicer weather on the way tired of being inside.

Mother's Day
We went back home to celebrate Mother's Day and got to spend the weekend with Family. On Saturday we had a batch of fried morel mushrooms and quail for lunch at the Kroeschen's and we had NY Strip and crablegs for dinner with the Beck's. On Sunday we went to brunch with my side of the family and then went over to the Kroeschen's and hung out with Mike's side of the family in the afternoon before we hopped in the car for our lovely 3 hour drive back to our house. Great food and family time who could ask for more! Thanks to everyone who made Mother's Day so delightful.

Happy Birthday Maddie!!
Today is Maddie's 5th birthday. She is one of the first big commitments that Mike and I made together as a newly married couple. (The other is buying a house) Mike felt that I already had my dog and he need his dog and of course Bailey really did need a sister to help her with all her mischievousness's and distruction of all our property. I mean if you are already out picking up poop whats the difference from one dog to two anyway? (grocery to garbage bag) We have enjoyed Maddie very much. She tends to drive some people crazy with all her barking and constantly being under your feet. But, we would miss her so very much if anything ever happened to her. (Mike and I would have to invest in a house alarm, a after dinner mop, a foot warmer, nap partner, a paper shredder, etc....) Here are a few photo from the past. They are not in any order but will show that she is a big part of our family that has shared in so many moments with us. We love you Maddie and hope you have a great day of rest and eating the two things you do best.

Easter Weekend
We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We got to spend quality time with family. It was a fun filled weekend with lots of traditions and new experiences. The kids loved the Easter Bunny, Easter Baskets, and of course all the Easter Egg hunts this year. The weather brought out all the Spring activities like walking around the grounds, picking flowers, fishing, sitting on the back porch, swinging in the swing, and just enjoying the sun and warm weather.
On the Beck side everything is going good and things are about the same. It seems that everyone is getting so much older and mature. Everyone had their own plans and agendas this year to work with. We got to spend time with Ed, Dalton and Savannah the weekend before. When they came up for Dalton’s games and Savannah stayed with us the rest of the week during her spring break. Which was absolutely amazing! We had a couple of small visits with Tom during the weekend. Grandma Dorma and Jean E. got to come over for a pleasant visit after the kids took their extremely long nap Sunday(I wouldn’t know why they would have been so tired) before we hit the road for our three hour drive which is always dreaded.
On the Kroeschen side we not only had the joy of introducing our newest family member, Lucy, to her first holiday we also found out some joyful news. In October we will be getting a new addition to the Kroeschen group. Teri and Wes announced at Easter lunch that they got to hear their first child’s heart beating and had an ultrasound picture to show everyone. Debby is so excited that she is going to have five grandchildren three and under. It does seem that we are expanding like crazy which means every holiday is only going to get a little more adventurous. I can’t wait to watch them all grow. The three grandparents were all able to make the trip to Mt. Vernon which is always a blessing.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!

Last week of March
Great week with friends and family. Not a dull moment. We went to basketball games all weekend and spent a day shopping for a teenager for her birthday. I was so exhausted. I am out of shopping shape along with everything else. I need to start trainning again. Hope everyone had a great March and stay dry with our April showers. I am so excited that spring is here and we can get outside.

WERE BACK!
Here is a mixture of the end of February and the first half of March. Time is flying by so fast. When I was putting this together I had to check the dates because it seemed so long ago. We have been very busy and enjoying every minute of it. We are all so ready for warm weather.
We went to Mexico for a week without the kids. I did not get my camera out much but we had a great time. If I get pictures forwarded to me I will update this post with more people pictures. Here is to good times, relaxation, letting your hair down, great food and beverages, and a awesome bunch of friends.
We have an addition to the Kroeschen Family!
