July 2010

Okay, so I know it has been a month since my last post. We have been very busy with activities, traveling, and house guest. Plus, I have been a little blah about blogging lately. We have done so many wonderful things and the kids are growing and changing and experiencing new things every day. I just have not felt like even getting my camera out to take pictures and then I am not real excited about the ones I do take. But as always here are a few from the last month. (Debby saved me on the vacation pictures, Thank you Debby.) We went on the Kroeschen Family Vacation to Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach area this year. There was lots of sun, water and family time. (Some of my favorite things) Thank you Doug and Debby, for another wonderful family vacation!

Mike had his Edward Jones Summer Regional this weekend in St.Louis. We had a wonderful time. Grandma and Papa Beck kept the kids over at their condo and Mike and I had a room over at the Hilton. We went the Edward Jones head quarters then to see Michael Bubble Friday night. (Excellent concert!) Went on a tour of Bush Saturday and the awards banquet that night. That is the only times I got to see Mike seeing how he was in Meetings every morning and early afternoon.

This is to my Dad who I know I don't tell enough how much I love him, how much I appreciate all the things that he has taught me in life, how it makes me feel to know that he is always right here for me and my family if we ever need anything and for all the things he has already done throughout my life. I love you dad! Here are a few pictures that I had handy that I thought you might enjoy.

Our first big vacation of the year. We drove through 6 states, stayed the night in 3 states, and went to 3 amusement parks during our week trip. There were lots of smiles, laughs, sleeping, swimming, snacking, texting, rides, water rides, driving, more rides, walking, sweating, eating, movie watching, whining, and tears. (The latter of the two were mostly from mom.) But it was a great trip and I would love to do it again. Such wonderful memories were made and we were with great friends. I also need to thank a sweet wonderful girl named Savannah who came along so we could spend some time with her and she was so much help with the little ones. THANK YOU SO MUCH SAVANNAH FOR ALL THE HELP WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!

Busy Week

End of May beginning of June. We went back to the Vern for Memorial Weekend: Emmalee turned 3, two wedding showers, lots of swimming and baseball, and today the kids had their Doctors appointments.

Little things

Thursday I woke up early and went for a walk. I ended up stopping at a couple of garage sales in the neighborhood. I got a motorcycle for Brayden, some books for Emmalee and a kitchen/grill set for outside. They played on the outside toys all weekend and loved them.

I never in my life would have ever guessed at how much work goes into a garage sale. It definitely takes a lot more planning and time than I thought. When I got home from my walk I called Mike and we got this brilliant idea to have a garage sale too. So Mike stopped at the bank on his way home for lunch and I got the garage all set up and while the kiddos napped so when they woke-up I could opened my door. I never in my life have had a garage sale and I bow down to all of you that do them. It is hard work especially with two little ones running around when your by yourself. I have sworn them off (except for shopping at them of course) and Mike now loves them and wants to have another. I am not sure if it is the profits or the emptier garage??

Here are a few photos of the kids enjoying their new toys before their nap on Thursday. I also need to put in a, "Thanks!" to mom and dad for coming up and helping out around the house and for watching the kids so Mike and I could enjoy going to a wedding and reception. It is alway good to spend some time with you.

Just another week

Just another week here at the Kroeschen house. We had Grandpa Bill and Uncle Steve visit us this last week, the kids playing together around the house, and Mom got a night out with the girls. We won't go into what happened at the house while she was gone, no pictures no proof right honey. ;) Looking forward to the nicer weather on the way tired of being inside.
